Dr Lamba has been selected to join the W.O.W Africa “50 Rare Men Continental Circle 2026,” an invitation-only platform that brings together influential business leaders from across the continent and the diaspora.

In a statement, W.O.W Africa said the selection recognises his contribution to investment banking, financial advisory services, and enterprise development in Africa.

Dr Lamba serves as Chief Executive Officer of Treadway, a Hong Kong-based investment banking firm, where he oversees global operations and leads initiatives focused on capital markets development and strategic investments.

The organisation noted that his work has supported the expansion of financial opportunities and contributed to the development of structured platforms aimed at promoting inclusive participation and sustainable economic growth.

His inclusion places him among a select group of leaders whose influence spans business, employment creation, and institutional development.

The W.O.W Africa 50 Rare Men Continental Circle is described as a private convening of founders, investors, industrialists, and institutional leaders. The platform is designed to facilitate collaboration, strategic engagement, and alignment on capital and enterprise development across Africa.

The 2026 gathering is scheduled for June 6 in Johannesburg, South Africa, under the theme “Black,” which organisers say reflects ownership of capital, authority in enterprise, and control of narrative.

The initiative aligns with the African Union’s Agenda 2063, which focuses on building an integrated, industrially driven, and self-sustaining continent.

Organisers said participation is limited to allow for focused engagement among attendees.

“There are few rooms on the continent where the conversation begins at this level. This is one of them,” the organisers said in a statement.

Participants will also be integrated into a broader platform that includes ongoing leadership engagements and business positioning initiatives through W.O.W Africa’s media channels.

Dr Lamba’s selection highlights his growing role in Africa’s financial sector and places him among leaders expected to contribute to the continent’s economic development.
